Windermere Suites

We loved the quirky yet modern nature the attention to detail was outstanding. The property was superbly located a 2 minute walk into Windermere town centre and 20 mins from Bowness so best of both worlds. The room was spacious yet warm, cosy and homely the facilities including hot tub bath heated floor and gorgeous bed made our experience even more special. Breakfast was scrumptious and delivered directly to our room which was so personal. Our host Vicky was an absolute delight she was so kind, smiley and engaging when we arrived and her gorgeous dog was such a character we fell in love with the place and can’t wait to stay again.

Couldn't really fault anything

Great room, very big and comfortable bed. big bath and underfloor heating was a bonus. Vix was a really good host, lots of tips for things to do and restaurants etc.

What began as a disappointment—our original booking at Hawksmoor Guesthouse being cancelled due to a plumbing issue—quickly turned into a blessing in disguise. From the moment we arrived, it was clear we’d landed somewhere truly special. Vicky welcomed us with such warmth and genuine care that we instantly felt at ease. She couldn’t do enough for us throughout our stay, and her attentiveness really elevated the whole experience. The suite itself was stunning. Tastefully decorated with high‑quality furnishings and thoughtful touches everywhere, it felt luxurious without ever being over the top. Every detail had clearly been considered, creating a space that was both elegant and incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was the breakfast delivered straight to our room. The quality was outstanding—delicious, beautifully presented, and the perfect way to start each day in such a relaxing setting. Overall, our stay at the Windermere Suites was absolutely amazing. We genuinely couldn’t recommend it highly enough. What started as an unexpected change of plans turned into one of the best getaways we’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be returning.
