"Lovely family holiday for 3 generations"

We had an amazing 10 days at the resort. We requested accommodation near other family and this was kindly fulfilled. Our room was also near the pool which was great. The pool was great for kids and adults. We had a few issues ( not resort related) and staff were extremely helpful. The resort was clean and staff in the restaurant area, cleaners and reception were very friendly and efficient. Also a good location to beach

Restaurant was a little on expensive side, but food was very good.

very polite staff. one can both work and relax. shopping center 10min away by car. there is a beach accessible by foot. for outside the compound you need a car or bus or taxi.

one needs to make short driving maneuvers to get in and out from the highway into the parking lot

Well kitted out apartment with plenty storage space, towels and kitchen facilities. It was clean and quiet (June) and safe for teens to explore pools and walk to beach.

One of the large pools did not have any sun beds and the other pool had limited space. It was fine in June but probably would be very busy at other times in summer.

We had a wonderful stay at Macdonald Villacana Resort. The apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable for our family. The swimming pools were excellent, never overcrowded and very well maintained. We also enjoyed the on-site restaurant with delicious food and friendly, welcoming staff. The gardens are absolutely beautiful, full of colorful flowers, palm trees and white Andalusian buildings that create a unique holiday atmosphere. The beach is only a short walk away, which was very convenient.

There is a small shop on site for basic essentials, but if you want a larger supermarket with a wider selection, you will need a car. Also, the nearby beach is pebbly rather than sandy.
