The Westin Nanjing Xuanwu Lake

The Westin Nanjing has a wonderful location next to Xuanwu Lake, and we were lucky to get an upgrade to the lake view suite, thanks to the friendly staff at the executive club lounge! Carrie, Angela and Joyce are very professional and they ensured my stay in Nanjing a wonderful experience.

It was convenient to where I wanted to go thoughout the city.

Very nice lounge. Great staff - super friendly. Even took the time to go downstairs to the bar to get some martini Rosso for my colleague’s Negroni cocktail. Exceeded expectations. If you get to this hotel, ask for Joyce, Connie or Rosie. Home from home.

I had a wonderful stay at this property. The hotel is very clean with up-to-date amenities. All the staff members treated me very nicely by greeting and smiling. My room had a wonderful view of the lake and the downtown CBD; the view is simply breathtaking, one of the best I have seen of this city and even of the whole country. Here I also want to mention the staff at the club lounge – their hospitality is world-class. Joyce tried to her best to accommodate my request for the room with a nice view. As a Marriott Titanium member, I truly felt the honor and privilege. I was a bit hungry before the happy hour time, but once Joyce sensed that, she went to the kitchen to find some snacks for me and also kindly accommodated my food request for the happy hour. I will definitely come back to stay at this property.

As a platinum number of Marriott, I had 2 wonderful days in the hotel, I had to appreciate the manager who arranged the room for me on 6th August，the staff Mandy Zhang, the guest service manager Garry Gai and the room keeper Paula Heng. With their kind help, can I had a wonderful time in Nanjing .

Westin Nanjing has been one of my favor hotel for number of years, the location is excellent, it is above a mall and subway. The view of lake is beautiful and no matter is day or night. Staff members always trying the best to fit your need. The most important, the bed is so good, soft and smooth, keep me deep sleep all night long. That's the reason I'm always enjoy the moment stay with Westing Nanjing.

Very nice hotel - and location is near the Xuanwu lake (walking distance) - the entrance is a bit tight for taxis for cars to turnaround - the staff provide excellent service and rooms are comfortable

This was booked as part of a tour, and I think that the tour company made a very good choice. I was here for two nights. The room was comfortable, quite large, very quiet, and it had a small sitting area, good work desk area, and good lighting. There was a partial view over the nearby lake from large windows. The location is good, being close to the subway and close to shopping. I particularly appreciated being within a short walking distance of beautiful XuanWu park (on/beside the lake). I used the hotel laundry service and shoe shine service and both were good. The breakfast room on the 20th or 22nd floor was bright, spacious, had very nice views over the surrounding area, and had a huge selection of breakfast items. My only complaint was that it was hard at times to get coffee. If you are desperate, there is a Starbucks on the ground floor of the nearby mall, but since the prices are 30% higher than in Canada, that was a last resort. Overall, a very nice hotel, and I would stay here again.

This hotel is part of a gigantic shopping center so the lobby is not on the ground floor. Still guests receive great help from hotel porters who work at the ground floor gate. I stayed there January 1st through 4th. The young tall lady who worked at the gate helped me with luggage, taxi, umbrella rental, etc.,and she always had the warmest smile on her face. Checkin process was smooth. I paid extra for the club lounge access, which proved to be worth every penny. I loved my spacious room, the separate tub and shower, and all the marble in the bathroom. The friendly housekeeping lady, Ms. Yao who works on the Club Lounge floor, cleaned my room and my parents’ room with the uttermost proficiency. To summarize, I loved my stay at this hotel. Kudos to the hotel manager and his/her staff.
