Golden Temple Hotel

I had a wonderful stay at Golden Temple Hotel. The team is easily one of the most helpful, friendly, and attentive crews I’ve ever encountered, always smiling and genuinely caring, recommending activities, restaurants and taking care of all the booking. The room was comfortable and very clean, the breakfast was excellent, and the overall atmosphere made it a perfect base for exploring Siem Reap. The spa experience was super good and much needed. Highly recommended.

We had stayed here when we visited 13 years ago so it was a simple choice to come back on our latest visit. The location is perfect, just out of town, tuk-tuiks waiting outside to take you further afield, right by a supermarket and walking distance to top restaurants. Our room was high up facing the pool and although there was a little traffic noise, the air-con drowned it out and we slept pretty well. The bathroom and shower were excellent and we had a wonderful two hour long massage in the spa. There is a wonderful pool and garden area to relax in too. Most of all though what makes this a wonderful place to stay are the staff. Always welcoming, friendly and eager to help, whether its making an .omelette, printing out boarding passes or just welcoming you to the hotel. Let's hope its not 13 years before we are back again

Despite the recent conflict, we felt very safe in Siem Reap. Everyone was very kind and solicitous, especially Jasmine. Breakfast was wonderful and we also had dinner at the lovely restaurant. Also a great location to walk along the river and nighttime markets.

We stayed in Golden Temple hotel for 3 nights after New Year and we are very happy with this experience. We have our room upgraded to the pool view room for free, it was great! Great pool and restaurant and friendly staff made our stay special. Also the location is good, all sightseeing buses can pick you up easily and for free.

It’s honestly hard to put into words how special our stay at Golden Temple Hotel was. From the very beginning, it didn’t feel like a typical hotel experience it felt warm, thoughtful, and authentic. Our guide Sinet was a huge part of that. He was incredibly knowledgeable, but more than that, he was kind and attentive in a way that felt natural, never forced. He took real care in crafting experiences that worked for our family, always checking in, adjusting the pace when needed, and making sure everyone was comfortable. He answered every question patiently, helped with anything we asked for, and somehow managed to capture beautiful photos of us without it ever feeling like a chore. Even the time spent driving felt easy and calm. Our driver Lon made every ride smooth and comfortable, and those little touches cold scented towels, snacks waiting for us kept coming up again and again. Especially in the heat, those details mattered more than you’d expect. Looking back, what stands out most is how effortless everything felt. We never felt rushed, never felt like “just guests.” It felt like being genuinely looked after by people who care about what they do.

Sinet was truly the best tour guide and advisor we could have asked for in Cambodia. From the moment we arrived, his knowledge, kindness, and genuine passion completely elevated our entire experience. He isn’t just a guide he’s a true scholar of Cambodian history, culture, and spirituality, but at the same time incredibly funny, warm, and easy to be around. Learning from him never felt like a lecture; it felt like traveling with someone who genuinely loves sharing his country. Exploring the temples with Sinet was unforgettable. He explained the history, symbolism, and stories behind Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples in a way that made everything come alive. He knew details that went far beyond the basics from ancient carvings to spiritual meanings and he always took the time to answer questions with patience and enthusiasm. You could feel how deeply he respects the temples and wants visitors to understand their true significance. The boat tour and excursions were just as special. He knew exactly when and where to go for the best views and the most peaceful moments, and he made everything feel effortless. When it came to food, his recommendations were spot on authentic, delicious, and perfectly chosen. Every meal felt intentional, not touristy, and truly showcased Cambodian cuisine. What stood out most was his kindness and thoughtfulness. Sinet genuinely cares about the people he guides. He was attentive, protective, and always made sure we were comfortable, safe, and enjoying ourselves. His humor made every day fun, and his intelligence made every moment meaningful. He made our stay at Temple Hotel so much better honestly unforgettable. If you are staying at the Temple or visiting Cambodia at all, you absolutely must request Sinet. He will transform your trip into something special, educational, and deeply memorable. Also loved the temple hotel💕💕💕

It was phenomaenal, loved the experience. The guide was increadible, very friendly and very knowledgeable. Adjusted to time very well and the lunch was super good.

This is a beautiful hotel with beautiful, welcoming people. They have gone above and beyond to make our experience special. Alice has been helping us book things via WhatsApp weeks in advance. Phanit and Roth have been exceptionally gracious and kind. It is located walking distance from the night market and made in Cambodia market with a lively night life. The room was beautiful and you can tell the designer took inspiration with all the details from the local temples. You feel like you're staying in the temple, but just steps away from the city.
