The amenities were minimal the upgrades were minimal and the hotel looks like it's still stuck in the 70s.

Our room floor was not cleaned the entire time we were there and with it being right across from the beach, the floor was dirty and sandy. I would have to wipe all the sand off my feet before getting into bed every night. Even after housekeeping asked on 1 occasion if we wanted our entire room cleaned and I said yes. When leaving the room one morning for the day, we were out of toilet paper and the room was "cleaned", still no tissue paper, we had to go in search of some. When leaving for the day we saw that someone had spilled raisins on the floor in front of the elevator, a member of housekeeping was getting on the elevator and speaking to another member of housekeeping while getting on the elevator with us, so I know they had to see them. When we returned that evening, the raisins were still there except they had been stepped on and were mashed into the floor. Breakfast was very watery "eggs", barely microwaved sausage, and the water container on 1 occasion was left over from the previous morning.

Please tell the owners this hotel is the absolute BEST! I really enjoyed my stay. I have stayed in NYC twice this year and 3 times in Boston this year. Nothing has come close this year so far. Great front line staff and behind the scenes staff. Great food and other amenities such as the business center. Baba Book!
