When we had booked a twin room but was given a double. Also noticed that the staff spoke very little to no English but everyone was polite and helpful, How ever the reason for my low score was the food is very poor. There is very little option and it seems to repeat its self. The same thing for every meal time and each day buy the 3rd day was very bored of the same options. Unless you continually like fish and rice then you’ll be fine. Also the toilet in the room was very poor condition and room did not provide towels.

Very disappointing hotel, the entire place needs a facelift, especially the rooms. Poor service from the staff, barely anyone speaks English. Only one hanger in the room, got fed up asking in the end. Two small bed side drawers to put your clothes so you end up living from a suitcase. Not even an iron so you have to use the hotel service. Dirty bed sheets on arrival, marks and graffiti on the walls in more than one room. Showers poorly maintained. WiFi is crap, the all inclusive is a waste of time unless you like watered down EFES beer, the list is endless and none of it good. Would not go here again if it were free.

I recently stayed at the Golden Age Hotel Yalıkavak and I would like to share my feedback, which I hope you will take constructively. Positive points: The location of the hotel is excellent. The overall size and layout of the complex has strong potential to offer guests a high-quality experience. However, my stay was significantly overshadowed by serious concerns in the following areas: 1. Cleanliness and Hygiene Hotel rooms were in a very poor state of cleanliness. Bed sheets were not changed daily, towels were missing, and bathrooms were not cleaned to a hygienic standard. Stains were present throughout the rooms, with evidence of bed bugs and mosquitos. 2. Condition of Rooms and Facilities Room walls were stained, with paint peeling and flooring in poor condition. Bathrooms were outdated and neglected. Furniture in rooms, the lobby, restaurant, and beach areas was dirty, stained, and old. The decoration overall was falling apart, with no sign of recent renovation. Rooms had very small, outdated televisions with barely functional channels. 3. Staffing and Management Housekeeping services were well below acceptable standards. Staff seemed unskilled and untrained. Management presence and professionalism were lacking. Staff were disengaged and unprepared to meet guest expectations. Service and management quality did not reflect more than a 3-star property. 4. Guest Profile The overall guest profile was very low key, which in turn lowered the atmosphere and the perceived quality of the hotel even further. Professional Observation As someone with over 15 years of management experience, including in the tourism and property development sectors, I can confidently say this: Golden Age Hotel has strong potential thanks to its size and location. However, without urgent renovation, investment in the facilities, and most importantly a skilled and professional management team with properly trained staff, the hotel cannot achieve the standard it should.

TOTAL DISASTER, DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL. We checked in yesterday around 5pm, and the experience so far has been entirely unacceptable, falling far below the standards promised at the time of booking. 1. Severe noise disturbance – there is non-stop water running and flushing noise coming from the next room, making it impossible to rest or sleep. We have had no sleep whatsoever since arrival. 2. Non-functioning facilities – the telephone in the room does not work, meaning we cannot contact reception. Each time I need assistance, I am forced to physically walk down. No towels 3. Unacceptable amenities – the reception is poor, the TV is extremely small, and no senior or responsible staff are available. The staff present are mostly young, untrained, and unable to provide proper support. 4. Lack of response from hotel management – I have raised these issues with the hotel repeatedly, but no meaningful assistance has been provided. 5. Poor food and unhygienic, flies over the food, no fresh food. I do not RECOMMEND anyone to book this hotel

the worst hotel ever carpets thinner than paper with holes in them we all had food poison .. avoid staying here awfull never never again

Lovely hotel great view . Food is lovely not a big range of choice per meal but what they produce was good !Rooms are big we got given room with 3 balconies and a large lounge area ,Staff are lovely and very helpful. Couldn’t ask for anything as everything is there.

Can’t fault the surroundings ie location to sea and pool area. Decor very tired and quite shabby in Some areas. Service was shocking in the dinning room other than the young guys at the pool pub . Food.. unless you’re Turkish pretty much all that was available. Don’t get me wrong I love Turkish food.. Don’t expect cooked food to be hot.. it’s not. Everything you asked for you got told No. Entertainment .. non existent. Unless you like music blaring out at the pool from 9 till late. Some it up .. i will along with my 6 friends will not be going back to Holden age unless they up the service and food and general attitude to holiday makers.
