Six South St. Hotel

This hotel is in an awesome walkable location to shops and dining. It is beautifully decorated and rooms were comfortable and very nice! Breakfast had muffins, fruit, juices, yogurt, and coffee. One of the best perks was water botttles, Lorne doone cookies, and apples daily on each floor… nice touch! One of my favorite hotels ever now! Staff was friendly and helpful and we will definitely recommend you stay here when in Hanover! Short drive to Vermont and the beautiful Quechee Gorge!

Stayed at Six South St. Hotel in Hanover, NH, in early May 2026 for business and was later charged a $70 “parking” fee even though I arrived by bus, had no car, and never used any parking service. When I first called about it, I was told it was a “deposit” that would be reversed, but after I followed up in writing, I was told it was for parking. I also was not provided a receipt for the charge. I’m disputing it now, and I’m sharing this so other guests know to check their receipt carefully. My bus tickets to Dartmouth has been provided to the bank, which is helping me dispute the charges.

Great location, close to Dartmouth that we were touring. Staff mostly warm and friendly, loved the cool restaurant/bar on-site and that it was so close to many dining options. Room was stylish, comfortable, and clean, wifi reliable and strong.

Parking was super expensive for such a small town.
