It’s a cool old building (a former post office apparently). I liked the modern layout of the room. It’s a very quiet neighborhood in general and especially at night. The other hotel guests were also quiet. The continental breakfast in the basement lounge was a welcome start to each morning.

The neighborhood is quiet and mostly residential and very far from the main attractions and happenings in Montreal. It’s about 15-18 min. walk to the nearest Metro stations. That said I did find some decent dining and limited shopping options in Ontario St, just a few blocks away. On my last night something happened with the AC unit (I heard a noise from my bed, but wasn’t fully awake to know where it came from) and it ended up leaking water on the wall / coat rack underneath and on a jacket I had hanging by a hook. Luckily it was clean water, so nothing was damaged and part of the jacket just needed to dry out in the air. On the morning before I checked out, the elevator broke and I had to walk upstairs from breakfast and later carry 2 big bags down. At least it was during the last hours that I was staying!

Son emplacement, les personnes à l’accueil, le stationnement gratuit et le petit déjeuner inclus.

Ce n’était pas propre, l’air climatisé fonctionnait très mal, le lit qui était sensé être de grandeur queen était double, la chambre trop petite pour deux personnes.

Das Zimmer war groß und sauber. Das Personal war sehr nett.

Die Lage ist etwas abseits der Stadt. Das Frühstück ist nicht so der Hit.

The staff was great, so friendly and helpful. I had a change of plans and they cheerfully refunded the day i couldn't use! I wish all Booking.com vendors were as kind.

The location is pretty far from sites. If you have a car, and I noticed a lot of guests take advantage of their parking spots. You CAN take a combination of the bus and Metro.l
