Nice hotel in a quiet area once the cathedral bells have stopped ringing! Should have checked if there wasa lift though, had to carry my heavy case up 4 flights of narrow stairs.

I'm writing to share my experience with this hotel: I drove 5 hours in the afternoon and I arrived at the hotel 90 minutes after the closing time for the check-in and since I was in the car, I couldn't call the property to make the arrangements for a late check-in. When I got to the door, I found two phone numbers and eventually I managed to talk with someone from the hotel (after the first number bounced me to the second). I spoke with the person on the other side of the line, who explained that I was late and I should have called before. True. He offered to come back to the city to open the door for me and give me my room, but at an extra cost of 10€ per hour of delay (which is different from those listed in the confirmation email that I received). The conversation was not at all pleasant and when I asked if it was better for me to find an alternative accommodation, the person said goodbye and ended the conversation. Certainly I should have found a way to contact the hotel ahead of time, and certainly the dismissive and arrogant tone of the hotel person was not appreciated and unnecessary. ...difficoltoso arrivarci - zona scoscesa con fondo in pietra disconnessa. Accoglienza sufficiente...camera e servizi discreti. Abbastanza centrale. Lo consiglio a chi non ha molte pretese.

Just as we like it! Silent, perfectly central, cozy, tidy and spacious rooms, in a very nice building, comfortable and relaxing. It doesn't have the loos neither of a cheap hotel, nor of an impersonal and cold chain one. Well-equipped, yet positively lacking superfluous gadgets, familiar atmosphere, very gentle staff. We really liked the small balcony and the style of the whole premises. Just a little note: the air conditioning machine is of the portable kind, not of the latest generation, so it's a little noisy and can be annoying if turned on for the night: you might need to organize as to refresh the room (which is necessary in the hot summer days) sometime before you go to sleep.

I'M sure 100% i left my i.phone battery charger in the room. I've already called them 3 Times AND they never called me back. Even if for all the 3 Times, they promised me, to do it very very quickly... By the way they recharged me the cost OF the room, i thought i already paied during the reservation... sono hope o didn't pay twice the room... AND to be stupid, Seen that when i arrived At the hotel it Was late, because the reception close At 20:00pm AND i probably arrived At 22:00pm, so for this i paied a little tip... just 10 euro i know but it's somethimg . If Nothing happened i wanted to came back again to this Hotel, when returning from my holidays in croatia, but now when i return i'll never go to stay there!

Estancia agradable y tranquila. Lástima que Trieste tiene serios problemas para aparcar barato.

We booked the Hotel during the day, and at 22 o clock, before we arrived at the hotel we received a message that it is closed and we shall search another hotel. But the Hotel not just canceled our reservation, they also charged the credit card. I tried to contact the hotel by email but received no answer. Upon calling, they simple hung up. Still have not received any money back.

Fantastic service from a friendly older gentleman. The location was unbeatable and the building itself was charming, just what I was looking for. And old, authentic house on a cobblestone alley minutes from the busiest part of the city. The only problem was that the room was sweltering hot in august with no fan or a/c. Keeping the windows open helped marginally but filled the room with mosquitoes which ate me alive. I was so hot the last night I was there I slept on the bare hardwood floor because it was a few degrees cooler. I didn't complain about any of this I just figured "when in trieste" but I do think that at least a fan should be left in the room. Got terribly little sleep in 3 days, but still enjoyed it.

ci si soggiorna bene, nel centro di Trieste, in una tra le zone più caratteristiche e vive
