Landhaus Wörpedorf

We booked two nights here for a rest-day, travelling from Sweden to IJmuiden, and had a pleasant stay. We had messaged ahead regarding our status as clinically vulnerable in respect of Covid and they were kind enough to place a kettle in our room, so we could make hot drinks. They were also happy for us to take their restaurant food to our room to eat - in the event, staff kindly brought our food to our room on both evenings. The dishes we ordered, by the way, were excellent and the best we'd eaten on our 26-day trip. For those who can eat inside, the restaurant was cosy and convivial (as well as clearly popular) and provided a good range of choices. For warmer weather, there is a pleasant outdoor dining area. We liked that the room had a door opening directly onto the terrace and were lucky to be able to sit out there in the sun for our morning coffee. Also good was that there was a wee carpark very close to the rooms, which are entered from the side of the hotel. Landhaus Wörpedorf doesn't provide breakfast, but the Bäckerei Rolf Mühlencafé just a couple of minutes walk away does an excellent one - they do a breakfast buffet which is very good, but be sure you can eat enough to make it decent value for money - the second morning we had filled rolls, as our appetites are small. The coffee was good. The surroundings provided some interesting destinations for our rest-day and for people who have longer to spend, the 40 minute proximity to Bremen, by public transport, offers lots of possibilities. All-in-all Landhaus Wörpedorf is a good destination and we recommend it.

Used as a stop over. Very convenient with the onsite restaurant which was very good. Although it wasn't possible to have breakfast onsite there was a café close by which provided a great breakfast.

Nice modern rooms. Very close to Grasberg and all amenities, bus stop just outside the hotel

The room was excellent, good size.

No notification that the on site restaurant was closed. No breakfast available at the hotel. No tea/coffee making facilities anywhere at the hotel No person available at the hotel will not stay here again.

Nice (former) hotel on the country side. Now run more like a bed & breakfast type of Landhaus, but, unfortunately, without any breakfast.

I was hoping to be offered breakfast, but it seems not being economical for them to offer it for only a limited number of people. Nevertheless, there are two or three bakeries in the same village - so breakfast was within reach, though not just downstairs...
