The location was good, the room was clean and tidy, and it was also very quiet.

Unfortunately, my experience with the reception staff was extremely disappointing. Before booking, I carefully read all of the hotel information available to me both through the website and the app. At no point was I informed that I would be required to pay an additional deposit upon arrival. When I arrived, my credit card was taken and I was asked to pay a deposit. I immediately asked the receptionist where this information could be found because I had never seen it during the booking process. She showed me a screen on her reception computer where the deposit requirement was displayed. However, when I explained that this information was not visible anywhere from the customer side during the booking process, she was unable to show me where a guest could actually see it before arriving at the hotel. I then asked why the deposit was necessary. The explanation I received made very little sense. I was told that, for example, if I were traveling from Africa and using a different currency and wanted to buy something, the deposit would make things easier. I genuinely could not understand how that was relevant to my stay or why it justified taking additional money from my card. When I continued asking questions, I was told that this was supposedly a law across Europe. I then asked where this law could be found or whether there was any official information about it, but no legal reference or evidence was provided. As someone who has traveled extensively throughout Europe, I have never had a hotel unexpectedly request a deposit that was not clearly disclosed during the booking process. Because the charge was not visible to me as a customer and nobody could explain it properly or show where it had been disclosed, I became concerned and contacted my bank. What upset me most was the attitude I received afterwards.

Staff was exceptional. Sophia checked us in and helped me to get to an emergency dentist on Sunday as I started having severe tooth pain on my drive to the hotel from France. Such friendly and helpful service!

Geen privacy/deur in de badkamer Zeer slappe kussens Kamer met airco geboekt, maar dat bleek een lawaaierige, mobiele airco te zijn.

Hotel bar views were great especially for an evening drink. Bathroom set up was ideal, shower was great. Very luxurious feel and cleaning staff done a fantastic job.
