Mardi Gras Casino & Resort

Due to renovations the power will be out for the hotel 11:30am to 3pm. This was not told at time of reservation but was explained at check in

There were no luggage carts when we checked in which required us to make several trips from the parking lot and because of the renovations only 1 elevator was working so with 4 people and 2 rooms it was over an hour just to get into our room. I understand that the hotel can't be responsible for guests who hog the carts but other places I have stayed at have location readers on the carts so they know where all of them are and can retrieve them as needed. Even though this was the only thing that was bad at this location it was bad enough that I most likely would choose another location to stay the next time.

Nice clean rooms, they were doing some renovations so it was a little messy in that area, but it did not take away from the comfort of the hotel. I like the hotel was separate from the casino. We love watching the dogs run, and this hotel and casino is now our place to come back to every time.

Pro tip- the swimming pool and hot tub are being taken out! 🙁

We always stop here when we travel, it is our tradition. We love the table games and the food is always amazing! Very friendly staff, the resort is also very nice and comfortable. Home away from home.

Beds are not comfortable
