Cruz Bay Boutique Hotel

We booked a place on Coral Bay for the 5th through the 8th. Airlines couldn't get us there on the 5th at the right time to get onto St. John so we came a day early. We only needed a day and David and Denise were able to accommodate us for just a night. (Outside of their normal policy). Not only that, we almost got stuck on St. T due to the car ferry shutdown early due to bad weather. We hopped on the regular ferry after putting the rental in overnight parking. (Had to go back the next morning to get it). I called the Boutique Hotel and the were more than accommodating. Even offering to pick us up at the ferry dock due to the weather. What a relief to have such helpful owners of a hotel. And the hotel shows as well. Very cute, our room #11 was quaint and very clean. All of the staff were very polite and Denise was very informative with an island map and all the places we could get groceries, gas, etc. David and Denise made our first, and potentially bad first, time on the island a great experience. A wonderful inn very close to the landing dock but quiet. Close to The Longboard Bar & Restaurant with fantastic frozen “pain killers”. We found The Cruz Bay Boutique Hotel perfect for couples. There’s a second floor deck to have coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the evening. The proprietors were most helpful with local advice and helpful suggestions on what to see and do. Recommended !

This small hotel is just a 5 minute walk to the hotel from the ferry dock. Location is in the midst of quaint shops and restaurants; as well as the area where you can catch taxis to the prettiest beaches, etc. The outside/inside of the building is older but fits with the local culture. The room we had was small but had everything we needed. The air conditioning wasn't the best but then, it was manageable. The host was super sweet and informative. Continental type breakfast food was juice, yogurt, muffins, packaged items and fruit. Perfect to pack for a day out as well. Free use of soft coolers, ice, beach chairs and noodles were a plus. There is a nice common sitting area/patio. I would recommend and stay again. If you are the type of person who prefers high end hotels, this way not be for you. If you are the type of person who enjoys immersing yourself into the local enviornment, then this is definitely for you.

Small intimate boutique hotel near shopping and restaurants in Cruz Bay. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Everything was nearby and walkable. I would definitely stay there again.

Cruz Bay Hotel was absolutely wonderful. Denise was so accommodating to all my needs. She picked me up when I got lost getting there. She gave me her sunscreen when I couldn't find mine. The breakfast was filling. Wifi stayed connected. Shower remained hot. AC worked and kept the room cold. And the bed was super comfortable. Did I mention it's in the heart of all the restaurants, shops and festivities! Taxis right down the street to get to the beach. It was such a relaxing time!!! I definitely recommend staying at this hotel. It will be my go to for all my future stays in St. John.

When you are in St John you likely don’t spend a lot of time in your room. This small but very functional and comfortable room is perfectly located. The service superior, with lovely terrace patios for a quick coffee and breakfast (complimentary). No insane hills to climb, and plenty of restaurants. Also excellent AC for the insanely humid June weather.

Clean, convenient, and tranquil. Hosts very helpful.
