Windy Shores II

If you are looking for a clean place right on the ocean, this is it. It's in North Myrtle Beach, so a quieter environment, yet a very short drive from all the attractions. A little outdated, but very clean with comfortable beds and basic kitchen equipment. There is very limited on site parking, but adequate parking a block away in a designated lot. The spacious balcony is a real positive and we spent a great deal of time there as well as the clean pool and beach. Planning a return trip!

the experance was very bad they gave us the wrong address so we had a hard time finding it the place was run down poorly maintained there is nobody on site for customer service mny things did not work it was un safe someone went into my car would never stay there or recomend it to anyone

The place is older but the room, or is it a condo?, we stayed in had 3BRs and 3BRs as well as a dining area, kitchen, and tv type room and balcony. The place was older and clearly in need of some updating inside and out but IT WAS CLEAN.

Parking was awful. Amenities you had to get on your own. Called for service that never came. Enjoyed not having maid bother us everyday. Location was perfect for what we were there for.

The stay was very nice overall. It's located in a good place near the main strip where everything goes on at the beach.

We found that even though Windy Shores II is equipped with an elevator that it was less than accommodating for anyone with mobility issues (wheelchair etc.) The Resort offers limited level parking spaces(12) with only one of these allotted to vehicles/persons with handicap permits. There were at least 3 other permit holders during our stay and utilisation of the hdcp permit spot was at a premium. These 12 spots were all covered, the remaining on site parking is uncovered and on a steep grade with overflow parking at least a block away. As the hdcp space was at a premium and the other level, covered spaces were preferred by other guests on numerous occasions we (and I'm sure other handicapped guests) were forced to park on steep slopes while loading and unloading a person in and out of a wheelchair. As the entrance to the resort is down a very steep grade the offsite parking was not an option for us. The resort should allocate more permanent spaces for permit holders or be prepared to assign temporary permit holder parking spaces based on demand.

Was not informed that there is no onsite check in office .After 30 mins of calls we found out that we had a packet in drop box...after that things became wonderful and we greatly enjoyed our stay.......

It was nice and quiet and had a perfect view. just wish they had a pool person to make sure it stays clean and maintain but overall when I return I wouldn't mind staying there.
