"闹中取静,但司机不好找"

8.0

环境很好,旁边就是免税店,房间没有描述的大,不到20平米,司机不太好找到。早餐无可挑剔。

"Fading but a good deal"

8.0

Stayed there fore one night in Nov 2011. Place is definitely starting to fade (particularly the bathrooms need a refresh) but it's quiet, friendly and given the rates definitely a good deal in Amman.

"Needs Renovating, bad Location, Dirty Rooms, hairs in bed."

2.0

We stayed here for 1 night and i think we chose the worst hotel in the area. It is far from anything, including the Mecca Mall about 20 minutes, the Citadel is about 20 minutes and downtown is 20 minutes too. It is surrounded by embassies, so there is alot of security and everything we came in and out the security was really bad, considering we are tourists they treated us like suspects! The room was very dingy, they upgraded us to a suite, but it was awful, the room was not made well and was messy, there was hairs on the sheets, hairs in the bathroom and loads of stains on the carpet. We made the mistake of having lunch there, before we discovered the lunch options at the mecca mall, and it was horrendus. I ordered a tuna sandwich and it came on a plate with a baguette and a slab of tuna on the side - what a wierd way of doing a sandwich with nothing inside? It also gave me a bad belly afterwards. It is really overpriced for what it is, we asked for a private car to take us to the airport as we did not fancy a cab driver, and it was 25jd, we expected a merc or bmw like normal hotels offers, but we got a battered citroen c5 which is a joke. I would not let my enemy stay at this hotel thats how bad it is.

"good overall"

8.0

quite location, just off one of the main roads "Zahran". they use round abouts/Circles as reference e.g. the hotel is between the 4th and 5th Circles (direction to hotel from 4th to 5th take right to Tunis street) hotel staff were very helpful, a guy called Muhannad was excelent, gave us all brochures to best places to visit. even arranged for a car hire from hotel and taxis before renting the car. early breakfast box is available if going early to trips like Petra to beat the heat one downside is that internet isn't free note the hotel price do not include tax and service charge. allow around eighteen per cent for both charges

"Good price with a nice stay"

10.0

The location is quite convenient although not directly near the city center. The city center is reachable by a short trip cheap taxi. The location is compensated by the comfort, quietness and spacious that we enjoyed. I am not sure if Mid of May is low season... the hotel is basically nearly empty so the whole hotel is left to a few visitors to enjoy.

"Not impressed"

6.0

Although the staff was nice, I was dissapointed that Internet and airport pickup not being included in the full price of the room. Overall, the hotel was quite empty. I was not impressed by the food menu either (breakfast nor dinner). Not a bad hotel but definitely overpriced.

"Great Service"

8.0

First of all, a couple were stood in fornt of me at the reception desk speaking in Arabic. I don't understand much Arabic but I heard they were asking about the star rating. The hotel is listed as 4 star but has 5 stars on the entrance shelter. I made a friendly comment that I was about to ask the same thing. Anyway, the woman looked me up and down, saw my boarding pass for the following days flight, and said 'hah, he is transit' in a tone that suggested I was unworthy to stay in such a grand hotel which, apart from being rude, was completely wrong. I paid to stay in the hotel despite work having already booked a cheaper hotel on my behalf. And also, it was very affordable in comparison to places I've stayed in the past. Anyway, her husband told her to hush when he realised I'd been offended by the remark. Apart from that, the stay was excellent. Particularly the service. There's a pool out the back, and the restaurant's food is good -I've enjoyed the mixed seafood platter on more than one occasion.
