Hotel Verlaine

Proximity to the Croisette and central Cannes. It has a pretty terrace ideal for an apperitif. Great breakfast.

Overall it was good - staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite new and clean - it’s a bit small but it’s fine. Decor are nice and modern. Location is great - 2 mins walk to the Main Street and 5 mins to the beach. Very close to the train station as well. However - room service is not ideal as they do not have a kitchen and the prepared meals do not taste good (€19!).

From the moment we stepped in to the Hotel Verlaine, we knew it was going to be a good stay! The reception staff were so helpful, providing us with a local map of the area, showing us which places were best to go for food/drink/beach/sightseeing. The room was spacious and clean with a modern design. It also comes with air con which is a blessing after a day in the heat! It's about a 20 minute walk from the Old Town, a 10 minute walk from the beach and a short walk from Cannes train station. This is great as you can get to neighboring areas from here (such as Nice.) You can also catch the airport shuttle from here to get to and from Nice Airport. Hotel Verlaine is also situated next to a supermarket which is very convenient.

Carlos checked us in and was super helpful. The property was recently renovated and reopens last year in September, and everything still feels new. Very modern and comfortable.

Beautiful hotel, just off a dual carriage way. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Centrally located, takes 5-10 mins to walk to Croissette. There is parking but need to reserve. I didn’t manage to get a space but there is parking on the street right outside and plenty to choose from. There’s a supermarket close by too, Casino, which is handy. Highly recommend.

We loved our time at this hotel! Check in was simple and the service was excellent. We appreciated the modern, spacious rooms and stylish touches throughout the hotel. They have parking on site as well.

They took their time providing ideas for what I could do during my stay. They were really nice and helpful overall. Good atmosphere and energy.

A very friendly staff welcomed us upon arrival. Rooms on the front have balconies (The view is unfortunately not so nice) and the bathroom quite large (with balcony too). No full restaurant but excellent breakfast buffet until noon everyday.

This recently opened hotel offers satisfying accommodation and a very friendly service. It is located, at the very end of the rue d’Antibes, on the boulevard that circles the center of Cannes. Very easy to reach by car (with parking space) or by foot from the train station but a little far if you need to get to the Palais des Festivals several times a day as it is a 15mn walk. A bit noisy from the traffic if you sleep with open windows.
