Hôtel Restaurant Le Bourguignon

Very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Just what we needed to break a long journey.

What a pity that the rooms do not match up to the quality of the restaurant. A really small, ill lit and generally "over the hill" room.

Outstanding restaurant, top class cuisine in a romantic setting, no way of finding this quality for the same price in England! (kids 3 course meal for less than a tenner) Big room (stayed in family room), kids had their own seperate sleeping area. Tv, big shower, toiletries. Booked this hotel for a convenient stop over from south of france to england. (about 5-6 hrs drive both directions). Did NOT expect it to be so lovely for a 2 star hotel. The village itself is an absolute must, so beautiful and historic. Hotel even had its own petrol pump which was a life saver and also a bit cheaper than the ones on motorway. Will most definately stay here again and spend more time here. Beautiful surounding countryside close to the motorway, but feels remote. Save parking. Beze is worth a daytrip & this restaurant is worth travelling from england to! Website photo's does it no justice.

Le. Bourguignon is a superb restaurant with rooms,not luxury hotel,the rooms are very basic and the ensuite bathroom had a mechanical toilet which sounded like concord taking off when flushed. For those who value fine food more than room comfort this is worth a visit.

Excellent Hotel and Restaurant-we have been coming here for 10+ years and love it.Beze is a delightful little village within easy driving distance of Dijon.

Excellent first night to our holiday - Beze is a charming place. We found our room very clean and comfortable. The showeroom & separate loo seemed to have been recently refurbished, and the shower was AMAZING! The decor in the room was nice. The walls were a little thin towards the corridor, and I was worried we would be kept awake as people returned to their rooms, but the beds were firm & really comfortable & I had the best night's sleep in ages (very unusual for me in a strange bed). Staff were friendly and helpful - I think it probably helps if you speak reasonable French (we don't, but we muddled along, and I think our attempts were appreciated, however bad!). Food in the restaurent was good, the bar busy with locals (Saturday night). We didn't have breakfast, but only as we were still full from dinner. We were sad to find that this hotel was fully booked for our return trip, we would definitely stay again.

the hotel accommodation is simpkle, no frills but fine for a French two star hotel, it has all you need for an overnight stop. the village is very convenient for the motorway but very pretty and well worth exploring. the food in the restaurant is very good both evening meal and breakfast. i would be very happy to stay there again.

We were touring France with friends, we all agreed this was a great start to our holiday. While the Hotel its self is more than adequate (on site parking) and comfortable the food was in a class of its own - brilliant. It maybe two star accommodation but it has a five star restaurant Tucked away in beautiful countryside it was a real find and we will definately recommend to friends. Look forward to returning next year.
