Les Bergeries De Palombaggia

The staff were incredibly helpful and nice. The room was very clean and had nice amenities and an incredible view. We liked the privacy of the terrace. The hotel is well located. The food selection at breakfast and at La table de Mina was exceptional.

The price is expensive for the size of the room, but it is on par with other prices on the island. Breakfast was not included.

The service was superb

All the rooms are self-contained small houses on the property (great for those looking for privacy and quiet). Plenty of flowers on the grounds of the property, you feel like you’re staying in a botanical garden. The staff drives the guests to the beach and back in a small buggy, which is awesome because without it, the walk to the pailotte (beach club) is about 30min, which under the sun feels like eternity. It would be good if the same buggy service was provided for dinner too, but it’s only available during the day. We got a free room upgrade halfway through our stay, which was a nice touch.

Due to the abundance of flowers and plants, including lavender bushes, wasps came to “visit” the tables at dinner time. The staff did their best to limit the disturbance with sprays and other solutions, but it was still a nuisance. Breakfast is 38/person which is quite a lot, considering that the buffet is relatively small.

The support provided by staff helping us to overcome challenges with our planning arising from flight complications that shortened our stay. They helped us to make the most of our visit to the island and generously waived some of our costs to assist us when we lost a nights stay. The accommodation was very comfortable and well appointed. Staff and service were first class. Facilities were generous and very pleasant.
