The hotel has a beautiful view of the ocean, very clean and modern layout, a fresh healthy breakfast with all the extras, but the best thing by far were the incredible couple who own and operate this hotel. They went beyond to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable and memorable.

Knowledge that the highway has a walkway that runs beside it from Deba to Mutrika. Amazing if you are walking.

"Fantastic place, really good host, but too warm at night."

Great host. Breakfast was too good, including Basque savoury and sweet food. Great coffee and fresh juice. Quiet room, comfortable bed.

Room was too hot to sleep well at night 24.0 to 25.5c. Air conditioner told could not be used to government regulations.???? Just too hot. Advised open windows, but mosquitos and flies entered, and traffic noise annoying. Not best nights sleep.

"beautiful boutique hotel with lovely views but slightly strange rules"

Beautiful boutique hotel with comfortable rooms with lovely views over the ocean and a wonderful breakfast. Staff is friendly and trying to be as helpful as they can..

Sadly they have a weird key system in which they register your finger print and you are supposed to be able to open your door with your finger. This never worked out for one of us, and we heard several other guests using pretty bad language when they were not able to enter their room too. Moreover, the pool is only open in mid summer and there are a lot of rules like no stepping on the grass - which means there is no place in the entire hotel where you can sit in the sun as the balconies are at the North side - and no eating in the rooms - which is a bit weird as the nearest restaurant is about half an hour walking along a quite windy and cold (even though beautiful) coast.....

"Fantastic beginning and end to each day."

The location was slightly out of town and quiet. The hosts were wonderful. Definitely choose the breakfast. Plenty of options and fresh.

The bed was more firm than we’re used to, but maybe that’s just a USA thing 🙂
