Nice location, lift to upper floors, evening meal available, well appointed room.

House keeping needs improvement, reception advised of' let downs' so hopefully errorsxrectified.

"Great, peaceful and relaxing stay."

Lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great, with lots of choice. Delicious salmon with scrambled eggs.

The hotel was too hot! Luckily we could turn down radiators and open windows in the room!

"Nice hotel for a couples’ weekend"

Recently refurbished, good food - both dinner and breakfast, great staff, nice new swimming pool facilities; staff were super responsive when I pointed out the changing room needed a bench, one arrived within hours! Bus stop outside takes you into Kendal in 7 mins (15 min intervals).

The advance info told us the leisure suite was out of action, but when we arrived the pool was fine, just the gym was being refurbished. This one of our group didn’t bring a costume…
