Having electrical points near bed side to charge phones would have been nice

Bed was not cleaned the day before we checked in. Smelled like it maybe cleaned a few weeks before. The room was very damp and smelled bad, probably because there was a tree inside the room. There where holes drilled in the tree and it looked like chemicals where injected in it.

Alam Ubud Culture Villas is a beautiful hidden gem set in a peaceful jungle location. The setting feels very private and special, yet still close enough to Ubud. The staff were amazing — friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The rooms were in excellent condition, very clean, and well maintained. A great place to relax and experience the true Ubud atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Just something to keep in mind — guests with mobility or disability concerns may prefer to request a higher-level villa, as the lower villas closer to the river involve a significant number of stairs to reach the restaurant and reception.

We had a wonderful stay at Alam Ubud Villa. It’s a beautiful, quiet and relaxing jungle retreat. The villas are set above the river, and falling asleep to the sound of flowing water and the jungle is incredibly peaceful. The setting is stunning and perfect for unwinding. Just be aware there are quite a lot of steps, which is worth considering, but overall it’s a fantastic place to stay if you’re looking for tranquillity and nature.

Ужасно было все. Начиная с того что никто не предупредил о том, что виллы находятся так низко и каждый раз нужно ходить через лестницы. Причем плохо убранные. Через пару дней подвернула ногу на этих лестницах. Пришлось уезжать на 3 дня раньше. Деньги не вернули. Номер древний и грязный. Постельное и полотенца очень изношенные. Как и вся мебель. Штора над кроватью грязная и пыльная. Двери нормально не закрываются, соответственно каждую ночь спишь в окружении гекконов и прочей живности. Завтраки скудные. Кружки не всегда были чистыми. Местоположение неудобное. Спа в отеле очень дорогое. Дверь открывается от ветра. Даже если плотностью закрыть через щели лезет все подряд. На балконе матрас грязнущий. На стене размазаны дохлые мухи. У бассейнов лежаки тоже старые и с грязными матрасами. Не рассматривайте даже этот вариант размещения.
