Kodchasri Thani Hotel Chiangmai

Great location, really nice room, staff pleasant and helpful. Lovely common areas and very picturesque pool/ garden in courtyard. And there are so many things to do in Chiang Mai!

Would have been nice to have a bar/ cafe in the hotel, having said that there are bars/ local cafes/ restaurants within easy walking distance.

Sengen var meget hård, ikke særlig behagelig at ligge i. Morgenmaden var ok, ikke noget vildt og spændende.

A lovely hotel with such happy and accommodating staff. Our room was lovely albeit a bit worn in places but this did not detract from our stay. Bed was comfortable and always plenty of hot water in the walk in shower. Lots of typical Thai features, doors, furniture and hospitality. The cleaning staff were super efficient each day in keeping the rooms clean and tidy for when you returned. The grounds are immaculately kept and a real joy to enjoy after a day in the heat and walking a lot, The pool was small but well kept – a bit chilly in December ! Staff could not do more to help. We went for an overnight trip to an elephant sanctuary and we were able to leave our main luggage with them until we returned. Also due to an early flight, the team arranged for a breakfast box for us to take with us to the airport. Breakfast had so much choice, lots of fresh fruit and salad, breads, pastries, bao buns, waffles etc. Plus thai options of curries, noodles and rice. A very well stocked breakfast offering. Hotel is in a perfect location, 10 min walk to the centre of the Old Town, lots of great places to eat closeby (as no restaurant in hotel), laundry shops and massage options. Great location for the markets, temples and just to wander around the lanes of Chiang Mai. Loved the presence of the hotel cats! Highly recommend for a trip to this beautiful city.

Good breakfast with fresh egg preparations and a buffet with a wide choice in thai or western dishes. The location was perfect if you want to stay the historical center although there was some music audible from nearby bars. The room was huge with good airco and clean. The mattress was quite hard which i prefer but could be an issue for people who prefer soft. We noticed one huge cockroach near the ground floor lift but it's in open air so unavoidable...

At breakfast there was only coffee from a pot, i personally prefer a machine where you can get a capuccino or espresso. The breakfast seating area was partly outside next to the pool so the artificial grass carpet was sometimes wet. The tables and chairs were slightly outdated and not the most comfortable. Some of the bed linen was torn and slightly worn. Some music was audible from nearby bars but the aircon was one of the quietest we had throughout Thailand.

La propreté, la beauté des lieux, le hall, le petit déjeuner et ce mobilier, le côté ouvert et spacieux pour déambuler

Nous logions au 3e étage, chambre 308. La proximité des bars dans le quartier peut perturber le sommeil. La musique pouvait continuer jusque 3h du matin. Prix élevé pour la Thaïlande.
