Incredible 180 views of Auckland City, including the harbour bridge, Rangitoto, and CBD skyline over the Waitakere Ranges. Lovely breakfast included. We stayed in an apartment and the massive 2 person bath was a treat, as well as being able to cook our own dinner. TV also had Netflix. Felt very homey,

While the bath size was incredible, the plug that was provided was not sufficient. It was a little silver covering that kept slipping off which meant we kept losing water trying to fill the huge bath. In doing this as well, we discovered that the bath drain had not been recently cleaned, so we pulled up some gunky hair trying to get the bath plug to work. Was disappointing and a bit yuck.

"The views were terrific but that's about it."

Dinner was below average for 4 of us. Steak was good, salads not good, prawns not good. Male receptionist/bartender/waiter had terrible body odour. The common areas are VERY dated. Renovated rooms are comfortable with large bathrooms. Unrenovated rooms are well......unrenovated. Spa was closed so can't comment. Didn't use pool or gym.
