breakfast was nice, staff is friendly

not the hotel I stayed a couple of years ago. Everything needs better maintenance. from swimming pool to the rooms : it's all old and not well maintained. Therefore overpriced and lacking staff.

Extremely restful, tranquil and elegant. We booked for the pool and sauna (both out of order during our stay), but it was lovely nonetheless. The location - in a tiny village and next to a small equestrian center - is idyllic; gardens are precious; building and decor authentic and charming. Very clean. Kettle in the room. Extremely comfortable bed. Meaux is minutes away with many restaurants, shops, etcetera.

I was moving out from France and stopped her for one night. The price was quite fair, stuff was kind and professional (and spoke English). I loved the vibe. The room was kind of classy, yet modern. The bathroom was surprisingly modern. It's not far from the highway, yet it's located in a small town, which is super calm.

The floor was squeaking a bit, but it was not too bad for an older building like this one.
