"Never stay in this hotel again!"

Room was good! Breakfast was terrible! Sausage, bacon and tortilla were all cold. Bread rolls were stale and the churros were stale too..

"A forgotten hotel in an almost forgotten town. "

This was clearly a "grand" hotel, once upon a time. Now in drastic need for a total overhaul and update. But perhaps too difficult for Exe to contemplate in what appears to be a town in sad decline.

"Passing through"

Overnight stay whilst driving from the Algarve to the Santander ferry. Didn't eat at the hotel as wanted to look around Plasencia. Only 3 minutes walk to the Plaza Major (nice area - Spain seems to have plenty of these). Plenty of restaurant choices, so great location. Hotel, staff and room were very good. Parking opposite was €17.50, so build that into the price. Downside was watching Man Utd's performance at Olympiacos.

"Perfect location on the edge of the old city wall."

Only stayed here on a stopover and was completely happy with our choice. The staff were very helpfull with tourist tips etc. Returning in a few weeks on our way back home.
