Santa Marina Arachova Resort & Spa

This was our first trip to Arachova, and we are very glad we came — and especially happy that we chose this hotel. The property is cozy and warm, and guests are treated very well throughout the stay. We drove from Athens (about 2.5 hours). Parking is convenient, with both underground and outdoor options available. Check-in was quick and efficient. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with the highlight being the beautiful mountain views and terraces. We very much enjoyed the hotel’s spa, which features an excellent sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and a refreshing swimming pool. The gym — although we did not use it — looked new and well equipped. Breakfast was very good, and dinner was excellent, with modern touches on classic Greek cuisine. We also loved spending time by the fireplace and in the adjoining bar in the evenings. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

Although everything at the hotel is excellent, a few practical notes may be helpful. The town of Arachova is a beautiful and lively mountain destination with charming shops, restaurants, and a great atmosphere. However, it is not within walking distance of the hotel, so you will need to drive. The town’s streets are narrow and winding, and parking is not always obvious, so it is best to be prepared for that. The hotel can arrange transportation, but it is relatively expensive. If you are visiting Mt. Parnassos for skiing, the hotel is very well positioned directly on the road leading up to the slopes. The drive is about 20 minutes. That said, it is more economical to use your own car, as hotel transportation to the ski area is also quite pricey.

מלון בוטיק. עם אנשים לבביים ואדיבים. מצד אחת נוחות למבוגרים ומצד שני מאוד ידידותי לילדים. יש חניה בשפע, ארוחת בוקר מפנקת ומסעדה שנותנת מענה לארוחות ערב כשכבר לא מתחשק לצאת אחרי בילוי במתקני הספא.
