San Giorgio Palace Hotel

Very helpful and pleasant staff. The hotel is built into the side of the hill, on 6 floors. No views of the town but excellent view of the valley. Good access to the town and the parking by lift. Very good breakfast, with panoramic view over the valley. Our bedroom was a little austere for our taste. €15 taxi fare to reach the bus station.

We visited this property in 2014 when only eight rooms were available on a bed and breakfast option. There are now 35 rooms and there has been improvements ie a garden area. The reception staff were very helpful. We particularly like the lift service, which means the exit at top of property is close to Ragusa centre.

This is a very nice hotel and very well located in order to visit the old town. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The palace rocks! Wonderful modern room, comfy A/C in center of historical side of Ragusa with outdoor patio overlooking Sicilian mountainside. Perfect for a visit to this beautiful Sicilian mountainside town away from the modern hilltop portion of the city.

The hotel was a fantastic find and if we go back to the city this is the only place that I would ever consider staying at. When checking in, it was a coincidence that it was the St of the city's weekend celebration. As such the roads were closed but the hotel reached out well before to let me know, where to park, how to find the hotel and met us at the door. From there, they told us the schedule of events so that we could be part of it while we were checking in. The room was in fantastic condition and the view was amazing. Staying in a lot of hotels, this had the best water pressure with a rainbar shower which is fantastic after a day of walking. The hotel has access to the main streets to explore around the area and the main plaza was only a 5min walk with lots of places to eat. I couldnt recommend this place enough!

Everyone at the front desk, especially Erik were so helpful with everything from the sights to restaurants, Pizza and a Pharmacy! The elevator from the lower parking area is great for people with mobility issues and the rates here are very reasonable
