Quiet, comfortable and warm. Surprised to see the room serviced and breakfast refreshed.

Shame the pub was closed on the Monday of our stay.

Comfortable and spacious accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff. Simple, quality produce well cooked for our pub meal. Fresh milk, juice and water in the fridge was welcome.

Breakfast selection adequate but be improved eg by including muesli , whole grain bread, plain croissants.

Very quiet, looking over the garden. Continental breakfast in the room everything you could ask for. Pub next door staff very friendly, food excellent

The cottage was really comfortable and gave us space to relax. We had spent a few days in small hotel rooms so having a sofa was great. The bed was really comfy.

It’s in a quant little village. Staff very helpful and friendly. Pub served brilliant food. No one bothered us just available if needed. Breakfast easy not cooked but plenty. Very comfortable good value. Easy access to A1

My husband does like cooked but we were aware it was buffet. Shower could have a handle as bath is deep and being older .

Food in the Crown & Anchor was very good indeed. Breakfast inside the accommodation was great, everything you needed was supplied as advertised. We will be back.

Accommodation was clean, comfortable and well apppinted. Staff/owners were very pleasant and food was superb. What more can you ask.

Hassle free check in which is just what we needed after our 5.5hr drive. Quiet and peaceful, nice to have our own space to relax in and felt like a home from home. It was nice to be self sufficient with breakfast and checkout the following day as well. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, with a good choice too. Evening meal was at the pub and it was good quality and fairy priced. The pub itself has a lovely warm atmosphere, as well as being very picturesque. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had travelled up for our daughter to take part in a competition in Grantham, and so it was important for us to have a good night’s sleep and to be able to have a early good breakfast. This property certainly met all our requirements.

The mattress on the double bed dips slightly in towards the middle.
