"Exceptional"

A friendly family run business. The whole team appeared to be pulling together to provide an excellent service. Went above and beyond and it was much appreciated especially the lift to the train station.

Being from the North a cooked breakfast would have been an alternative but was very satisfied with what was provided.

Everything we needed was in the room, lovely fresh pastries for breakfast and milk alternative provided when requested. Staff in the pub were fantastic, we couldn’t have asked to be looked after any better.

Everything was great, however I did suffer with slight backache due to the double mattress on the bed.. think it was just a little too soft for me.

Great location for Belton House. Comfortable, warm and clean. Plenty of room.Food in the pub was delicious and staff all friendly .

Coffee wasn't to my taste but that's super picky.

"Wonderful place for an overnight stay."

The sofa and beds were really comfortable, and it was very quiet and secluded. It was all very clean. The continental breakfast in the room had lots of choice, and there was plenty of it! The staff in the pub were all very friendly. The pub is in a wonderful little village, and a short drive to Belton House (National Trust) and Harlaxton Manor. We definitely plan to stay here again, and maybe for longer so that we get a chance to eat in the pub.

The bedside tables were just small shelves, and could be bigger. It would be good if there was a brighter light over the mirror in the bathroom, and if there was some shelving in the bathroom for our toiletries. But these are very minor points, and did not detract from our stay at all.

"Relaxing stay in beautiful family run pub"

Beautiful little cottage that was warm & comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly & made the accomodation more special. The breakfast products in the room were generous & fresh.

Lovely place to stay, which had a real "home from home" feel. Well equipped, very comfortable and clean. A late request for special dietary needs was fully met, which was much appreciated.

No negatives at all
