We loved everything, the owners were great, really helpful and polite, the bedroom was very clean, the bed was warm and cosy, the usual tea/coffee in the room but went above and beyond by providing little extras like 2 dressing gowns, hand creams, a little jar of biscuits and sweets, plus a booklet of places of where to go and points of interest we chose to go to the birds of prey centre very good, the breakfast was out of this world 🌎 so much choice of fresh and dried fruit 🍓, full English, choice of about at least 8 cereals and about 5 choices of fresh juice! and the owners really looked after me and my wife. The garden was beautiful to sit in, so relaxing, all the flowers 🌺 and statues fantastic. The house is in a very good position to go exploring, bus stop just across the road to take you to Goathland or Whitby, only cost £3 each way, so worth parking the car up so you can relax and enjoy the scenery. If you choose to go by train, that was also nearby. we would strongly recommend this choice and plan to go again in the near future. We personally from our experience would give it 5 *. Well done to our hosts in providing a great place to stay and recommendations of local places to appreciate the scenery that can be enjoyed.
