The room looked lovely and location is good

The bathroom was not very clean and the breakfast was cold and not very good value for money. On previous stays the breakfast had been excellent

Adam the manager, was very attentive and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable

From the moment we arrived for our two night stay Adam welcomed in a friendly professional manner. The spacious room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. There was tea and coffee facilities with Border biscuits. The bathroom was bright and the shower excellent and easy to use. The shower gel etc was lovely. It was a quiet room. We ate in the bar one evening and the food was well cooked as was breakfast.

All was good. I would have liked some herb tea sachets.

We love coming to stay here and now it is under new management we were lucky enough for the new manager to make time to talk to us at breakfast. I think Adam will be such an asset to this lovely place. We look forward to returning soon.

Easy and quick check in. Lovely comfy bed. Good sized room with great refreshments in the room - nice touch. Easy access to return to after a wedding at St Neots golf club. Excellent, tasty breakfast with drinks. Everything we needed in the bathroom. Everything felt great value for money for our stay.

I couldn't work out which switch controlled main light, couldn't switch it on but this wasn't an issue, the bed lights were adequate. Window was left open when checked in, not a big issue, closed it when we got in but took a while to heat up when we got back. I wish we'd popped the heating on before we left! I couldn't work out how to put towel rail on either so bathroom was cold to go into and when getting into the morning shower.

Location, staff, food

The room was a nice size and easily accessible from both the carpark and pub/restaurant. The staff pleasant and efficient. The Sunday lunch was delicious but the fish and chips I had in the evening was not great at all. In

We booked a standard room with bath but the only room available at check-in was the accessible room with wet room which needed a thorough clean. The wet room had mould in places and the floor was so dirty. The shower drainage hole in the floor was partially blocked and very dirty. The pillows were very thin and uncomfortable. A real shame as we were so looking forward to a lovely family meal/stay. The dirty milk jug at breakfast was inexcusable.
