Anchor Inn NSB Bed and Breakfast

The Anchor Inn is conveniently located to the beach, shops and restaurants. The owners are great, friendly, accommodating and helpful. The homemade breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the our stay and would certainly stay again.

Great breakfast on both mornings of our stay. Hosts, Tommy and Liz, were great!

Loved the property. Would like to have control of air conditioning as it did get a little warm at night.

We loved the room, it was very homey and loved the cleanliness. Also the breakfast was excellent. We will stay there again.

Drawer to get blow dryer out was hard to open.

It was clean & the hosts were welcoming. ☺️ The sheets were nice, but the bed was a bit rickety. And the shower head was awful, unfortunately. Overall though, it was a good stay. Breakfast was great!

The location was great for the historic part of town, also the waterfront and lovely restaurants. Tommy, the owner, was a great host and made helpful suggestions for places to visit. He also cooked a homemade breakfast each morning, which was delicious.

It is just a few blocks from the railway line, which does have several trains running throughout the night, they blow their warning horns which may disturb your sleep, if not used to it. Also, the rooms are nice, but if you stay in one of the lower ground rooms and someone is occupying the room above, it is rather noisy.
