The access to the bedrooms was underwhelming the paintwork needs attention and ripped stair carpets. The room was large a bit eccentric. The mattress is worn out on the bed and the zipper down the middle is very uncomfortable. I though the lack of shower was a same and standing in a free standing bath with shower spray in hand is likely to end in a fall

Rooms are beautiful and comfy, bar area just as beautiful and a joy to sit in, staff are fantastic.

Staff were all really lovely, welcoming and helpful. Knowledgeable about GF options, evening meal was ok, breakfast was really good.

Room was fun and quirky, but would benefit from new carpeting and soft furnishings.

Terrible pre arrival communication. No response to my email queries or to a voice mail asking for info and a call back. No pick up from them to my ringing 6 times. The room was a bit grim. Nothing like the ones in their photos. There was no opening window, so baking hot at night, no air, and couldn't sleep. Didn't see the fan until the next morning. The room opened onto a glazed corridor leading to the car parking area, so poor natural light. The room was dark. There was no side table on one side of the bed, so water, glasses, etc. all had to sit on the floor for overnight. 1 bedside lamp only, so I couldn't read when in bed. Safety issue for nightime going to the loo as no light on my side of the room. The dressing table area had a mirror but no lighting. Dark at this end of the room. The only lighting in the room was 1 overhead light and 1 bedside light.
