Hotel Robledal

We were staying the night in San Jose before driving to Manuel Antonio for the week. This was in a great location at the edge of town. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy but the property was enclosed with a gate and felt very safe. The grounds were beautiful. The room was newly renovated.

The bed was a bit firm for my liking.

Beautiful garden property with a special owl project and next boxes.

Goed hotel in de buurt van het vliegveld maar ook in de buurt van diverse mooie plekken om te bezoeken.

Personnel pas très sympathique, pas serviable, la serveuse soupire lors de notre prise de commande De mauvaise foi dit que nos carte bancaire ne passent pas ( 2 cartes ), alors que c’est son TPE qui ne fonctionne pas et du coup en essaie un autre et là ça fonctionne et ne s’excuse même pas … Nous ne reviendront pas dans cet établissement…

First, the hotel has beautiful grounds and gardens, which are not only a good place to relax, but offer excellent birding (in fact, there is a feeding station outside of the patio restaurant). The breakfast, which was included, was delicious and ample, with lots of fresh fruit and wonderful coffee. The hotel has a convenient shuttle to the airport and if you need to leave before breakfast, they provide you a sack lunch. And even though the hotel is close to the airport, we found it very quiet.
