QANestled amidst lush greenery, this property is an ideal retreat for those seeking peace and relaxation in nature. Waking up to the soothing sounds of birds and being surrounded by trees made our stay especially memorable. The rooms are thoughtfully spaced apart, providing a sense of privacy and tranquility. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-suited for our family of four. The breakfast buffet offered an excellent selection of both continental and traditional Sri Lankan dishes, catering to a variety of tastes. In-room dining service was prompt and efficient. Another major advantage is the hotel’s location—just a 5-minute drive from the entrance to the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. Overall, this is a wonderful property that combines comfort, nature, and convenience, making it an excellent choice for families and leisure travelers alike.
There are a couple of areas where the experience could be further enhanced. The entrance gate and driveway could benefit from better lighting, as the area was quite dark at night. Additionally, there was a brief power outage around the time of our checkout. Fortunately, since we were already preparing to leave, it did not cause any significant inconvenience. These were relatively minor issues and did not detract from an otherwise enjoyable stay.
