Swan Hotel

This is THE place to stay if you want to get a taste of the Cotswolds. The place itself is beautiful and out of several towns/villages, Bibury was our favorite. The manager, Amanda, was very helpful and friendly. She helped us check in when we got there a bit after the front desk had closed, showed us to our table at the restaurant, made sure our order came out great and made a few recommendations for the following day to get to know the are, which we did! The restaurant at this place is so good; we had breakfast and dinner every day and they were perfect. We had the dinner delivered to our cottage on night and everything was excellent. Highly recommend the stone sea bass and the Full English Breakfast. Everyone on staff was super friendly, parking was there on site and our accommodations were perfect. Must stay here!

We stayed in a lovely cottage and it felt like a welcome home from home. So private and quiet. Everything in the cottage was provided at a high standard. Bring a sleeping eye mask as the light of dawn will leak in. But that it, that’s my only small complaint. The team at the Swan are exceptional and especially Christian who looked after us the whole time. All the food (we had dinner and breakfast as part of our rate) was wonderful. Tasty and a great variety too. The wine by the glass is very generous. Finally you cannot top the location and the ease of getting everywhere from Bidbury. We will be back!

The property is very charming and the rooms are amazing. The food and service was very average for the price. And there aren’t any good restaurants near by as well.

Hotel in a beautiful setting. Check in very welcoming and quick. We had drinks in the bar and evening meal. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and eager to please. Food was delicious. Breakfast also delicious , we had porridge which was served lovely and hot. Bed was very comfortable and everything spotless. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay

Super romantic place with details to attention to the highest standard in and out, all the staff were genuinely friendly.

We chose this hotel to get married in 2 years ago. What really sold it to both of us was the quality of the food and the friendly staff. On every occasion; at the wedding and our two anniversary visits since the standard has never faltered. We highly recommend it and intend to repeat our anniversary visits and also day trips. The food is exceptional. This last visit was fully booked, but the staff were very friendly, helpful and although busy nothing was too much trouble.

I came and stayed in the Swan about two years ago for a coupe of nights, my room was amazing the best ever i have stayed in. But i found our room this time , tired. Upset that my son who lives in the village could come and have breakfast with us, (he lives in Arlington row).
