"Fading Experience"

Friendly staff.

The property looks tired and dated. Rooms are musty and cold. Paid the highest driver accommodation services on our total trip , for a average stay. Taxes service fees not included in the prices. Adds a punch to the final bill. Approach road need upgrading.

"Hotel is colonial heritage, stay experience can be improved"

The hotel property is well maintained and has a nice colonial vibe . Unfortunately for me , the experience wasn’t great for two reasons 1) we were given rooms in the basement and it felt claustrophobic. Though, due credit to the staff they changed our rooms to ground floor the next day on request 👍 2) The food buffet , both in breakfast and dinner , had limited choices and at least did not appeal much to my taste palette - it was decent but not great.

Wonderful stay. Spent 3 nights and had a relaxing time. Great meals, helpful staff and well kept gardens. A lot more homely than many other competitors in Nuwaraeliya.
