What a special hotel! Just exquisite. So much history. As we were celebrating our silver wedding anniversary they very kindly upgraded our room, decorated our bed and gave us the most delicious cake. Dinner was a set menu and breakfast was a buffet - it was all fabulous. A hot water bottle was provided for the cooler night and was much appreciated. The staff were all so friendly. You can’t go wrong with a Jetwing hotel in Sri Lanka and this one was very special.

Stunning property, rooms beautifully decorated with comfortable bed, friendly staff, Dinner & Breakfast Buffets were delicious with loads of variety. Bar staff awesome mixing up lovely beverages/cocktails.

I cannot fault this hotel, the character and charm of this hotel make for a memorable experience, like staying in a country house. Here we sit relaxed and enjoying a bottle of wine in front of the fire place this evening in the characterful colonial style lounge - very relaxing. The food is varied, great quality with exceptional choice. All the staff are attentive, welcoming, friendly and serve always with a smile. Love the bar staff’s peaky blinders caps. The gardens are beautiful and the one staff member in particular - Gowry spent time showing us the kitchen gardens and ensuring we had an enjoyable stay - I would thoroughly recommend staying at this charming hotel, would love to come back if the opportunity arises. The hotel staff are great and we had a lovely welcome. Our stay was for two nights and we were made comfortable. Having stayed at the Jetwing near Kandy the previous night unfortunately it spoiled us and this jet wing hotel falls short of that one. The most noticeable difference was in the food. Breakfast was good but evening meal was average and my friend had to send his food back twice as it was cold. This lets the hotel down and needs some work.

We had a wonderful stay at this nostalgic hotel in British colonial style. The interior design is beautiful and full of character, creating a truly unique atmosphere. The service was outstanding, with highly trained and attentive staff who made us feel welcome at all times. We especially enjoyed spending our evenings in the lobby or at the bar by the fireplace—it was incredibly cozy and relaxing. The beds were comfortable, and a lovely touch was the hot water bottles provided by room service in the evening without even having to ask. The buffet was of excellent quality, offering a wide variety and selection—there was truly something for everyone, and nothing was lacking. The wine cellar was also very well stocked. We would definitely come back again.
