Everything was really very good. Evening meal and breakfast were delicious, bed comfy, room very nice.

Room was a little too warm but thats better than being cold.

Lovely, clean, spacious room. Fabulous breakfast. Comfortable lounge bar. Beautiful countryside. Helpful staff.

The towels are looking a little worn.

Clean and tidy hotel, all the staff are very attentive and friendly, esp the young man Johnathan what a lovely friendly young man, very helpful and had excellent attention to detail. The manager Alison was also very friendly and helpful on our check out. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will be retuning.

Attractive room, retaining some original features, in a sort of separate apartment with connecting door to the main house as well as its own private entrance. The breakfasts were consistently of a high standard (we didn't have dinner there), and the staff were unfailingly warm, welcoming, and efficient.

Fantastic location, excellent breakfast cooked to order, comfortable clean room and very attentive staff.

Beautiful old house in gorgeous location.

Mould in bathroom, flaking paint, makes a beautiful room look very sad. Food is terrible - ordered medium rare steak, came out well done and I was asked if I’d like it cooked longer! Every meal was the same - undercooked sausages, overcooked eggs, steak with no sauce options but ketchup or brown sauce. Staff were lovely but seem inexperienced; the woman checking me out watched me struggle out with my bags and it didn’t seem to occur to her to hold the door for me.
