Perfect accomodation, with very good restaurant!

I would recommend everyone going to Bormio to stay here. Everything is perfect. Nice rooms, great breakfast and super friendly and helpful people.

The staff was super friendly, specially the waitress at breakfast, she was so accomodating! She made the best coffee. The morning cleaning crew was also SO SO nice, they even knew my dog by name! The breakfast was perfect, it's nice and quiet, with calming music in the background, perfect way to wake up in the morning, while also overlooking the mountains in the background as their dining area has big windows. The overall deco of the hotel was absolutely perfect, lots of wood everywhere, very tasteful, extremely cosy, super clean, uncluttered and comfortable. The food is made with local products and it's absolutely delicious, highly recommend having dinner at their restaurant! If you get half-board, they also make a salad buffet available (if not half board, you can also have access to it for just €10). They have many gluten-free options, which is also appreciated, specially when you go higher altitudes, it helps with digestion! In terms of location, we couldn't wish for better, especially when traveling with a dog. There's plenty of green fields all around, it's a car-free area, and there's a gorgeous walk all along the river which starts right at the hotel, so you can go for long walks with your dog. It's also walking distance from the city centre, but without all the stress and noise. There's a big supermarket just a few minutes around the corner. The beds felt like they were brand new, super comfortable, two pillows (soft vs harder) to choose from, spacious rooms, very cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend!

If you like to sleep with the window opened, ask for a high room - there is some noise sometimes from the parking lot or a big fan from an industrial machine running all night which could bother those with lighter sleep. If you close the window though then you do not hear a single thing, all good!

The property is set in the most spectacular location. Every window captures the beauty of the mountains. We were blown away.

Special place!

All was great 👍

At first, we were given room 207 on the second floor. The wooden ceiling above the bed was also the floor of the neighboring two-story room. This caused a lot of problems: every step or movement from the neighbors sounded like it was happening right above our heads. At midnight, we could hear constant noises from the ceiling. We asked the reception to talk to the neighbors to keep the noise down at night, but it didn’t help. As a result, we had two sleepless nights. Eventually, they changed our room. However, it seems like this is a common issue because the reception staff didn’t even apologize. We were moved to room 107 on the first floor. Unfortunately, it wasn’t much better. This room was located right above the kitchen and from 6 p.m to midnight, we could hear everything: loud conversations, kitchen noises and the constant banging of the kitchen door. It seems like there is no soundproofing in the hotel at all. The positives: 1)The waitress at breakfast was very kind and attentive — a big thank you to her. However, the waitresses at dinner were less friendly. 2)The shuttle bus driver was always polite and punctual. 3) Breakfast was tasty with fresh fruits, vegetables, cheese and pastries. 4) The room was cleaned every day and it was very clean. 5) Beautiful view from the balcony. Overall, the experience was mixed. The staff tried their best, but basic things like peace and comfort were completely ignored!

The main downside is the lack of soundproofing. Additionally: 1) The waitresses at dinner were not friendly. 2)The reception staff didn’t even apologize for the fact that we couldn’t sleep for two nights because of the noisy neighbors. 3) The dinner was overpriced and very basic. The pizza place across the street was both tastier and cheaper. Our conclusion: We won’t come back here. Paying over 160 euros per night and not being able to relax is definitely not for us!
