Grand Gardenia

My husband stayed here for one night as he flew in late night. It is very close to the airport and easy check in. The staff are polite, prompt and helpful. The rooms were very clean and a decent size. It was quiet and a good nights sleep. The food was excellent. My husband really enjoyed the authentic flavourful South Indian cuisine.

The rooms are basic and there are no facilities. They have all the amenities and it is quiet even if next to a highway. It is good value for money. For one night rest stop I don’t mind. It is away from all the tourist attractions. So if that is your main purpose this may be a bit far and inconvenient.

Nice Hotel. We stayed for 3 days. Pros: 1. Neat room 2. Good food 3. Convenient location 4. Good service The only issue we saw was that the hotel was under-staffed. So we need to call room service or reception many times to get them to answer. But they made it up by immediately servicing when they answered

Clean spacious room and fittings were very good especially the bed. Easy to use touch buttons near bed.

The bathroom shower head doesn’t work well, had to call a technician to repair the very night we checked in . Wash basin sink was leaking on to floor whenever used. As a result as it dries some dank smell was present.

Rooms: Stayed in the Executive room. Spacious and can easily accommodate an extra bed. Bathrooms were well appointed. Food: Breakfast spread was simple but tasty especially for South Indian dishes. Continental dish taste was below average. Service: Staff were friendly and hospitable. Parking: Plenty of open parking.

Reception staff were arrogant, no hot water in room, ,called several times to fix it, cleanliness was terrible, not worth for the money paid.
