Ski Time Lodge

Amazing stay, can't fault. Everything we could have wanted in unit. Generous continental and cooked breakfast included. Great views and so quiet. Will be back.

Staff are great, helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast far exceeded my expectations. As I was travelling alone I stayed in the very understated basic room. In addition to being warm, clean and comfortable it is very tastefully decorated and a good size. The common lounge area is great for mingling with fellow snow enthusiasts and well stocked with tea, coffee a fridge and everything you need to enjoy your takeaway meal in comfort. I would probably ditch the pool table in favour of additional lounge furniture as seating was a bit tight on occasion. All in all a fabulous property and a great place to stay. And then there is the restaurant 😊

Stayed here for two nights to visit Mt Hutt for some skiing and snowboarding. I got a nice room on the second floor with views of the mountain. It was comfortable and the showers were fine. Due to strong winds during my stay, there is also a constant woosh sound coming from the window which can be of some annoyance. While opening the window slightly helps, because the room is located near the chimney of the restaurant downstairs, you would get some smoke/exhaust from the it if you open the window. I only had the Lamb Shank from the restaurant downstairs and it is often crowded during dinners. The Lamb Shank I had was excellent. The meat was juicy and fall off the bone tender. Breakfast is served in the same restaurant, which has the usual western style breakfast sides, scrambled eggs and bread with jam and butter. Next to the restaurant there is also a lounge area for the guests. Parking is complimentary and the best lots can be found at the front of the lodge. The price of the lodge is reasonable as well. The location of the lodge is a bit of the walt from Methven town centre where the supermarkets and eateries are.

Very friendly welcome at check in and check out. Clean and comfortable 3 bedroom accomodation for our family of four with two teenagers. Good amenities within the unit, would have been great to have scissors for kitchen use, and tongs that weren’t broken. Spacious and warm. Stunning sunset views over Mt Hutt. Super handy to the thermal pools. Can highly recommend for your ski holiday.

We had a lovely stay. The Restaurant food was great except my granddaughter had raw carrots and broccoli with wedges and Nuggets. The Breakfast was amazing both mornings.

I couldn’t fault this lodge, the staff especially the 2 girls that worked in the bar were absolutely fantastic, couldn’t ask for better service. The meal was 1st class, service was 1st class. Will definitely be back to stay. Thank you guys for a fantastic 2 days in Methven

Nice quiet location with fabulous views to the mountains and close to the new hot pool complex. Staff were lovely and meals were delicious.

Super friendly people, great views of the mountains. We had a very nice stay, definitely will be back! Breakfast was included which was a bonus.
