The hotel was very clean. The staff was extremely friendly. Our room was large and had a nice size closet. We put jackets on in the lobby because it was cold. One staff member offered to raise the temperature in the lobby for us. We thought that was nice.

The lobby and hallways were very cold. I believe they had some air freshener system going through the vents or air fresheners hidden through out the building that was too strong for my asthma. The location was odd. The air conditioner unit in our room got very loud at times.

Upon arriving, I was immediately greeted by the nicest gentleman behind the desk. Affectionately called “D” The lobby was beautiful….It was welcoming, and everyone was extremely friendly. I will absolutely be back! One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time! All around great experience.

"Nice little hotel."

Nice hotel. We were going on a one day train ride with Potomac Eagle railroad in Romney, which was about a half an hour away. There weren’t a lot of hotels to choose from and we were kind of hesitant, but it turned out great. Very friendly staff & the rooms were clean. Bed was comfy! They had coffee and snacks available at all times. Breakfast was good too.
