Americas Best Value Inn Caldwell

Having the indoor pool is a big deal considering the location. If your visiting as we were it was something my kid could do for free. We enjoyed it twice a day the entire stay. Price was on point and breakfast was always out and they even let me get it late twice. Service was 10/10 way more than you expect.

Everything was good. It would have been nice if the laundry area was in working order and had more than one machine but that’s no fault of the staff. The company should do something about that especially if all the rooms are occupied at once laundry would be not an option.

Peanuts and ice cream spoon on the floor behind nite stand I moved away from the wall to use the plugs. My shoes made sticky sounds on the floor. The bathroom was not very clean and the room smelled soured or moldy.

The front desk lady that checked us in was super nice and accommodating. The night shift not so much. The pool had so much chlorine that you couldn’t swim in the pool. Breakfast was not good. The waffle mix was very obviously spoiled and the only thing available at breakfast on Monday morning was the spoiled waffles… I do not recommend this motel

The bathroom was horrible. You could see urine around the toilet and stains on the sheets. Smelled of urine.

Staff woke the entire motel up at 7:30 am looking for dirty towels. House keeping barged into the rooms at 8:30 am without knocking. No coffee in the room. Place was run down and staff was not present upon checking in or out. Will not stay again.

This was an old property, but not too badly maintained. Bring you own pillows because the ones provided were lumpy. My main complaint was how noisy and inconsiderate other guests were, and it wasnt a specific group of people, like a group of teens, but a lot of people, talking loudly, slamming doors, yelling, banging on walls. I slept so poorly, i was too tired to drive home the next day.

This hotel experience was very average. We stayed for 3 nights. I booked the 4 queen bed room. It has one restroom for 8 people. It wouldn’t have been bad if maybe we had enough towels for everyone. I asked for more towels and was only handed 2. Toilet paper ran out quick and thought that the employees would restock it. Breakfast was ok, it only had one waffle maker, toast, pop tarts, cereal, coffee, and juice. Front desk people were nice. The beds did there job. The indoor pool is pretty small.
