Bel Aire Motel

Great little old school motel that has had extensive renovation's! Super clean, Super comfy beds ! Only suggestion I have is to add room darkening shades to the windows to keep the neons and other lights out better.

This motel is obviously being remodeled & has an aesthetically pleasing vision despite the cheap furniture. The staff I interacted with were kind & gave me good recommendations for local shops. The room itself could have been better. The floors were dirty & I found a dead spider next to the chair. The door also didn’t shut all the way, although the deadbolt did lock. I felt uneasy & ended up using a personal motel lock as well as pushed the chair up against the door to hold it in place. I hope as they continue to remodel some of these issues will be fixed & cleaning will be done more thoroughly. It’s cheep lodging, so some of this is kind of expected, however I wouldn’t stay here again should I be passing through the area.

Convenient location walkable to historic downtown. Ample free parking.

Booking.com photos misrepresent the actual condition of this property. Cheap cosmetic treatments do nothing to disguise the poor condition of the motel. Exposed wiring on former thermostat, cheapest furnishings, awful paint job.

The room was clean and comfortable and the retro decor was fantastic 😁

Not the cleanest. AC unit not working. Fam not working. The new repairs did not look good. Very sloppy. Won’t stay here again. Honestly wish I could get at least half my money back for it.

Everything was very good except in the morning we didn’t have any hot water! It happens, management had no control over something like that! The front desk guy and the manager were wonderful. Nice remodel going on for an older place.

The staff was wonderful, the parking was awful. Our room was in the perfect spot, the bed and pillows were excellent, however the sink drain was plugged and the faucet was loose and sprayed all over the vanity, it made it really interesting to brush our teeth. There is a hair stuck on the lid of the toilet, we both tried wiping it off with tissues, but it was stuck. The decor was really cute, and even with the faucet and hair I would stay there again.
