Hotel Ambrose

My booking has free parking, when we come no parking for us(because we are staying only 1 night). We have to look for person on front, lobby is to small.

Having the Cafe right on site, was a welcoming convenience.

Other place was rather run down- the toilet overflowed on the first night and it was not pleasant. It was grimy not expected. Luckily we spent very little time there. I would not recommend it.

Great location and friendly staff, recommend the stay

It was a very cute place. Very clean. The bottom bunk was a little noisy.

The area was nice and convenient but staff were not helpful and hotel room was not very clean. The Expedia page wrote that there was on site covered parking, however when I contacted the hotel about this they said that I had to park on the street and I had to have reserved a parking spot beforehand which was not made clear on the booking page. Furthermore, there was no parking available on the street around the hotel. When I went into ask the staff about parking when I got there, the girl was very rude and was not helpful at all. Lastly, there were blood stains on the bathtub edge and floor leading into the bathroom. The sheets were also pretty old and tattered.

This is a cute little boutique-style hotel that is an absolute last-minute steal for its location. Sure, you might have to carry your luggage up a couple flights of steps and the decor is done on the cheap, but the bed was comfortable and the airconditioning was divine. The best part of the experience was the staff. The young woman running the cafe and front dest in the evenings was an absolute delight.

The staff were wonderful. The coffee shop is superb. The room was clean, comfortable and full of character.

Great location, lovely communal patio! The Wi-fi in our room was spotty and the TV couldn’t find a signal, we never contacted anybody about it as it didn’t bother me, but my mom had to sit in the bathroom to get internet and she does like TV.

Decent stay, not many bells and whistles but the space was clean and sufficed for a one night stay.
