Food, staff, location

Couldn't get heating to work in room 6. Don't think the extractor fan in bathroom was working too. Needs smaller bedside lamps, take up all the room.

"Overpriced and cramped"

Food was good

Noisy extraction systen right outside bedroom window, ran all night disturbing sleep. Tiny room with no facility for hanging clothes, no dresser either so had to live out of suitcase. Overpriced wine and food, constantly trying to upsell, so much so it wss uncomfortable. We booked bed & breakfast but had to pay extra for a hot option.

Nicely laid out . Tables not packed in close. Great decor. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

My boiled potatoes were not they deep fried. My husband's bacon in the morning was also deep fried. Which was a shame and didn't fit the description on menu. Our shower was blocked up and my elderly mother couldn't get any hot water in the morning in her sink. She had to run the shower first at 90 years old it slightly confused her.

Excellent value for money. Cosy pub downstairs with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed the Thursday chicken special — it was delicious. The fireplace kept everything warm and toasty, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal.

"Attractive pub in heart of the village. Very dog friendly in all areas of the pub which is nice."

Bar and Restaurant layout very attractive and historic feeling. Drinks options and bar service very good. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

My chosen starter wasn't available, the server didn't know what the fish of the day was, the carpet was bare in room 10. The toilet was dripping constantly. There were no provisions for the dog in the room. The streaky bacon at breakfast didn't come as streaky bacon, it was ham instead. Reception desk for hotel arrangements not obvious.
