街から離れたところで、周りに何もないということ自体が楽しみとなります。 わたしたちの時は、薄く雲がかかかっていたので、北斗七星や一等星、零等星が認識できた程度でしたが、夜は星がきれいに見えるはずです。 設備は一通りそろっています。Towel Rail (タオル掛け) や部屋のラジエーターは良く機能していました。(ただし、扇風機が置いてあったので、暑い時期には困るかもしれません。) スタッフはてきぱきとして、仕事の速いタイプ、という感じでしょうか。丁寧という感じこそありませんが、親切な感じでした。

わかって予約したことなので不満ではありませんが、部屋はさすがに狭いです。椅子も一つしかありません。 いずれにしても、一泊を楽しむというつもりでの予約だったし、不満ではありません。 ただ、部屋はドアや窓が直接、庭・通路に面しているタイプなので、人の往来や話し声が直接伝わってきます。 なお、良くなかったということではないのですが、レストランは普通のパブとは違って、ピザ窯のあるイタリアン系の料理です。ピッツア・マルゲリータもありますが、Cheesy Garlic Bread を注文したら、ガーリック&チーズのピザでした。AIに訊いてみると、ピザ窯のあるようなイタリアン系では、Breadといってもピザ生地で作るのが普通なのだとか。

Ficamos num quarto delicioso, com uma banheira no meio. A pizzaria junto ao hotel é deliciosa!

Breakfast was.excellent and the staff were very helpful despite the place being very busy.

I thought the evening meal was not as good as I expected. It was expensive and surprisingly tough and overcooked!

A variety of pillows would be beneficial. We found them too hard.

Excellent staff, polite and helpful.

Straight away TV in room not working, unable to turn off or change channels. Told it was due to batteries in controller but no batteries available in the building. Stain on quilt cover.
