We had a fantastic stay at Bluebird Spa City Motor Lodge. We booked a King Balcony room, which was perfect since we were traveling with our pup—having our own entrance made coming and going incredibly easy. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with travelers in mind. Every detail felt thoughtful: dimmable lighting, easily accessible outlets, and a generously sized shower and bathroom. The location can’t be beat—you’re literally in the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs. The common spaces were so well done and fun to explore, especially for late-night hangs with the pup after my partner went to sleep. The entire reinvention of the motor lodge strikes a perfect balance of nostalgic charm and modern inspiration. We’d absolutely stay here again.

Top Lage mitten in der schönen Stadt Saratoga Springs, in unmittelbarer Nähe kann man gut Essen und spazieren gehen. Die Mitarbeiterin beim Check-In war sehr nett, die Lodge ist besonders schön gestaltet und sehr einladend. Im Atrium gibt es kostenlosen Kaffee und Wasser. Das Zimmer war etwas eng, aber ausreichend. Föhn im Bad war auch vorhanden, Heizung hat im Zimmer gut funktioniert. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt absolut zu empfehlen :)

Die Heizung hat zwar funktioniert, hat aber leider konstant Geräusche gemacht, davon sind wir oft wachgeworden. Im Bad funktionierte sie nicht so gut und ungünstig fanden wir, dass die Duschwand zu kurz war und man fast das Bad unter Wasser setzt beim Duschen.

Perfect location in town. Modern motel with well designed rooms, comfortable beds and good showers. Restaurants and coffee shops right out the door. This was our second stay and we will return.

very cool use of the building layout for the renovation (this had been a derelict building that was recently recreated into the lodge). the inner courtyard added a fun, communal atmosphere without interfering in your privacy. Location is ideal, right out into the best part of town, could not be better!

The room was stark and drab, cement floor with only a very thin mat "carpet" under the bed, and the window looked straight out onto the alley and parking garage where there was constant foot traffic so you had to keep the shade drawn. Made for a very depressing atmosphere in the room itself. Not much you can do about the view as the building is where it is (and the location is fantastic, see above!) Also repairs needed in the bathroom - upkeep isn't the greatest.

As someone who is temporarily on crutches/knee scooter, I found the accommodations great! The chair lift, the handicapped accessible room and shower. Beds are super comfy! Staff was warm and welcoming for the most part.

There was only 2 handicap parking spots, and one evening there was a car parked in one without a handicap sticker. When we asked the front desk workers, it seemed that the car belonged ot one of them. My friend asked if the car would be staying there and they said "Yes it would," she then gave him attitude about moving saying, "Does she really need it?" To avoid argument, my husband moved our car to the garage but I thought it was very strange that they would park illegally in the handicap spot and not offer to move it for someone with mobility issues.

It was very unique. Inside open design was a surprise.
