Holiday Inn Express Montgomery East I-85 by IHG

Hotel was fine. It’s in the cut and was safe, but the gas stations nearby at night can be a little sketchy. There’s an armed security guard in the gas station, so it made me wonder about the area, but I didn’t face any issues.

Pool was closed and it didn’t tell me when I booked. Area a bit sketchy, lots of renovations and the room was very small.

Angie is the BEST she made my stay exceptional! I appreciate her kindness and compassion for others. She went above and beyond with helping me check into my room.

Property is being remodeled but not informed on the website.

A/C was running but couldn’t get it to go down below about72 readout read 60 but would not cool down. Unfinished wood in bathroom.

Large clean room. Free parking and professional, helpful front desk and breakfast room. Used the gym.

Construction began on our floor at 9 am with a knock on the door telling us the elevator would be shut down. Carpet was torn up on our hallway.

Facility was being renovated, which while is great, I wish I had known in advance. The entry was thus hot, noisy, and dusty. Our room still had items you could tell needed to be repaired. There was no coffee pot in the room which was a huge dislike for my husband. The staff was polite and the breakfast lady was seen helping people work the fancy coffee grinders/makers. Was a bit disappointing from our usual Holiday Inn Express stays.

Good staff, clean room, perfect location for travelers wanting to be close to the interstate.
